i so agree with ballmer; well im not impressed that thing is a rip off of a PDA which does have a keyboard also has internet (which is one the #1 iphone people bragged about) SOME (not all) apple fanatics are just jealous because windows is easier to use and probably more powerful than any mac. no. the iphone 3g is not $200 it is $200 dollars with a service agreement if you want to buy the phone without the 2 year service agreement then the price more than doubles prices vary at different locations alot of people are forgeting that

lol, Ballmer has a point. Basically everything branded as an "iDevice/mac" is so expensive that no one wants to admit that they paid too much for it due to fear of massive psychological trauma one might experience from the realization of being ripped off and brainwashed (a bit over exaggerated I know). Microsoft should have done whatever they could from making iTunes available for PC. Any guesses on what that might have done? ipod/phone are mac only? fuck that! Why would you want a $600 phone?

It doesn't need to be "stylish" it just happens to be stylish with brilliant technology included, brilliant technology that Microsoft or anyphone manufacturer doesn't have. Bill Gates may be a very smart man, however he doesn't innovate or incorporate style into his products which just means that he makes them bland, uniform, and uninteresting.

Sorry, for some reason I read 5 megapixels instead of 2 on Apple's website, but the iPhone 3G still is ten times better than anything Microsoft has put out and so none-the-less of my error, Ballmer is still "sucking on that."

This guy is retarded... And even when the iphone was 500 dollars there were still nokia phones that were more. Also...what the hell? The keyboard on it is probably more advanced and interface friendly than incredibly tiny hard to press keys on other smart phones.

ok the iphone was not originally offered to verizon. it was offered to sprint. the deal went bad because sprint wanted their own user interface on the phone to make is run in alignment with all their other smartphones. apple wanted their phone untouched. their heads butt so deal went bad. apple then went to at&t. at&t wasnt picky with interface so a deal was made.
